From his Holiness The Dalai Lama I pray for all of us, oppressor and friend, that together we can succeed in building a better world through human understanding and love, and that in doing so we may reduce the pain and suffering of all. I feel the different religious traditions have a great responsibility to provide peace of mind and a sense of brotherhood and sisterhood among humanity. If an individual has a calm state of mind, that person's attitudes and views will be calm and tranquil even in the presence of great agitation.
